Sr. AV Installation Engineer

Description:

We are currently seeking a talented Senior Audio-Visual Engineer who is driven by excellence and shares our customer service orientation. The successful candidate will have a proven track record and strong expert knowledge of commercial Audio-Visual Systems.
Essential Functions:

• Design, recommend, implement, deploy and maintain complex A/V solutions for our customers in the tri-state area.
• Apply expertise in A/V to arrive at solutions that integrate into existing systems.
• Advise project teams as to best practices in A/V installation.
• Apply knowledge and experience to solve technical issues.
• Implement, support and maintain environments as directed by customers.
• Act as technical A/V resource at all levels of company
• Act as A/V adviser to clients.

Requirements:

Proven expertise in the design installation of A/V systems.

• Must have Experience with Extron, Polycom, And Creston Systems.
• Expertise in A/V design in varied and complex venues.
• 7+ years experience as a “soup to nuts” A/V expert.
• Working knowledge of LAN routing and switching.
• Solid working knowledge of Cisco systems.
• Experience soldering, terminating and cable pulling.
• Basic cabling and wiring concepts required
• Experience installing devices in walls and ceilings.
• Strong organizational and communication skills
